| Brandi
and the Badcats' Suzi Quatro Tribute Show debuted at the Kedron Wavell
Services club here in Brisbane on the 30th October, and what a fantastic
show it was. Brandi took no time in winning the audience over. The Badcats
played many of the songs from their C.D. and Brandi used her Fender
Bass as well as the double bass.
Then after a short break just long enough to change into their leathers
the band were back on stage for 75 minutes of raw energetic wild Suzi
Q. 'The Wild One', 'Rock Hard', 'Mamma's Boy', 'Stumbling In', '48 Crash',
'Can The Can','Devil Gate Drive' were just some of the awesome hits
they played. Brandi had them eating out of her hand and by the time
the band got to play 'Devil Gate Drive' she had them at fever pitch.
Brandi left the stage to the roar for an encore; so the band returned
with 'If You Can't Give me Love'.
The show was a huge success, and guarantees the continuation of the
dream.
The next show is at Noosa on 18th November, then Bribie Island on 3rd
Dec, and Wynnum R.S.L. on 10th Dec, Caboulture R.S.L. for New Years
Eve and then in January they are booked every weekend. Check the gig
dates page for a full updated list.
The band hopes to bring the show to Sydney and Melbourne in the not
too distant future.
So to all those fans who encouraged the band while they were in Melbourne,
and especially those who requested Suzi,we say a great big THANKYOU.
If it wasn't for you none of this would be happening.
