Sydney wow!
Back in March at the Phil Haley show in Sale the Badcats were approached by a promoter from Sydney who offered to arrange some gigs for them if ever they wanted to go.IF EVER THEY WANTED TO GO!!! What an understatement, of course they wanted to go! A few phone calls later all was arranged and off they went.Two gigs in early December.Knock'em' dead Badcats! And so we did.
Peter the Promoter had done a great job generating interest for a band that he had seen only once. The first gig at Forestville Leagues club was a huge success. They really didn't want to let us go, we had to give them two encores! It was great. Everyone had a fantastic time.
The second gig was way up the coast in a place called Wyong. It was great as well.Everyone was happy and Peter assured the band that he will have us back in April.
Thankyou Sydney for a fantastic weekend, you're such a nice bunch of people. We really hope Peter can organize a return trip for us as he promised.
