show at the Kedron Wavell! |
|
Brandi and the Badcats' Suzi Quatro Tribute Show debuted at
the Kedron Wavell Services club here in Brisbane on the 30th
October, and what a fantastic show it was. Brandi took no time
in winning the audience over. The Badcats played many of the
songs from their C.D. and Brandi used her Fender Bass as well
as the double bass. MORE

Wintersun - moving to Queensland! |
|
Wintersun was awesome for the Badcats for more than just the
buzz of being there; more than just the beautiful sunshine and
the surf and lazy days spent by the pool; through Wintersun
Brandi and the Badcats met Cliff from Skyhigh Entertainment
and together they are putting together "Brandi and the
Badcats presents Suzi Quatro tribute show". MORE

Wintersun! |
|
Wintersun was bigger than ever before this year with 100,000
people gathering together for fun in the winter sun. There were
bands on almost every street corner, and people from everywhere
enjoying the beautiful weather and fantastic entertainment,
and that included us. MORE

Joe from the Sure-Shots |
|
When the Sure-Shots came to Melbourne for one gig at the Corner
Hotel half of the Badcats (Reno and Brandi) decided to go see
them.
They were certainly worth the effort (the night was freezing);
what a band!
But more than that their lead guitarist looked familiar; racking
their brains they finally realized that they met him in Japan
when he was in a band called the Alabama Skittles, they actually
played at the same night club together (the Wishbone Club) in
Osaka for three months. What a small world!! |

Jailhouse Rock n Roll Festival, Ararat |
|
Ararat Rnr Festival 2005 was so much fun! Thanks to Bernadine
and the members of the committee for all their efforts. We know
there is mountains of work that goes on behind the scenes, and
anyone who goes to the trouble of being involved deserves a
medal. MORE |

Steve Williams on sax |
|
The awesome Steve Williams, known to most people as
the tall sax player in John Farnhams band, is the man who has
provided the sax on "Mamma Rock", the debut C.D. by
Brandi and the Badcats that is finished at last, and has appeared
with them on their two most recent gigs, at Dandenong R.S.L.
on 14th August, and Kingston (Moorrabbin) Town Hall on 21st
August. He has agreed to be a "Badcat" whenever his
commitments with John Farnham will allow.

Update |
| Thanks
Yvonne of Cheyenne promotions for a great night on May the 8th.
If you weren’t there you missed out. Unfortunately the
night coincided with the VRRDA competitions and many of Yvonne's
regulars were committed to go to that, but Yvonne said she will
definitely have us back again next year. |
